Young adults with type 1 diabetes (T1D) frequently struggle with achieving good glycaemic control and can have poor outcomes from their disease. The team from the University College Hospital Galway and the National University of Ireland Galway and the have collaborated to pioneer a new way of enhancing Patient Care with Young Adults who have Type 1 Diabetes.
Healthcare Professionals, researchers, industry collaborators and most importantly, Young Adults have developed a working partnership to look, test and review existing and custom technologies to assess the potential benefits they have to enhance the outcomes for young adults with T1D.
